Cardiovascular Disease

Currently there are no effective treatments for late stage heart failure. Many patients experience a severe decline in the quality of their life. Globally, heart disease is responsible for about 32% of the deaths worldwide and is increasing in prevalence.

For those with advanced forms of heart failure, nearly 90% die within one year. There are generally no therapeutic options other than a heart transplant.  95% of the heart transplant candidates die waiting for transplant.  If you are lucky enough to get a heart transplants, the procedure comes with many surgical risks, like bleeding. You will need to take powerful medicines to suppress your immune system for the rest of your life which can cause severe side effects. It is possible that the transplanted heart will not work well enough to maintain the circulation.

We specialize in the treatment of Ischemic Heart Disease which means that the heart is not getting enough blood and oxygen. Also called coronary heart disease (CHD) or coronary artery disease which is a heart problem caused by narrowed heart (coronary) arteries that supply blood to the heart muscle.

We have developed a special cell line called an Angiogenic Cell Precursor for treating patients with Ischemic Heart Disease.  Angiogenic Cell Precursors (ACP) are produced from the patient’s own blood. Through a proprietary process, we are able create a cell that will help increase circulation to the heart.   The ACP’s are delivered by a catheter procedure under the supervision of an interventional radiologist in the hospital under anesthesia. The catheter will allow the ACPs to be released in the effected tissue.

We have treated over 525 Patients already treated successfully for Ischemic Heart disease. These are the primary conditions we treat:

  • Left ventricular hypertrophy.
  • Myocardial infarction.
  • Heart failure.
  • Aortic stiffness.
  • Endothelial dysfunction.

The treatment process is simple and starts with a thorough evaluation of your cardiovascular system by our specialized team. condition.  Generally, the whole treatment process can be completed in 5 days.

  • Day 1 - Patient goes for cardiac screening

We need to make sure that the patient is a candidate for this treatment

  • Day 2 - Patient is admitted to the hospital
  • Day 2 - Catheter injection of cells in hospital
  • Day 2 - Patient spends the night in ICU
  • Day 3 - Patient will stay in hospital if needed
  • Day 4 - Patient will stay in hospital if needed
  • Day 5 – Follow-up with Physician

In addition to reduced risk of mortality and hospitalization what can I expect after I have the treatment?

  • Improved quality of life
  • Improved functionality
  • Decreased long term healthcare cost
  • Lengthen life span

Also, many patients have noticed some positive side effects after the treatment.
